[Bug: 21.4.21] dired complains about an unrelated directory

I think this also happens with TRAMP if the ssh process is dead.

You should do dired-report-bug which will format a report for the
Dired maintainer Mike Sperber (cc'd) (who also hangs out here but
sometimes responds more quickly on that channel).
