[Bug: 21.5-b27] Query/Replace string starting with TAB character crashes X

I'm actually using 

  xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.1.1-47.7.fc6

which is release 7.1.1; I guess it may have a similar problem
to that you mention from XFree86.  I'll look in that direction.
