... and out for the count, I'm afraid.  There seems to be serious
hardware problems on the host (busted disk controller), with
substantial disk corruption already found.  Status of backups is
unclear.  I probably won't know more until Monday when I can get
somebody to actually physically shutdown/try reboot, etc.
