Hiding the AUC-TeX toolbar

Actually, I'd recommend

M-x TeX-submit-bug-report RET

instead.  It fills in quite a lot of useful information, including the
version number of AUCTeX.  Maybe it is an upstream problem, maybe it has
been solved already and just needs to trickle down into XEmacs at some
time, maybe you are already using a more uptodate version of AUCTeX than
that of XEmacs (in which case the XEmacs developer list would likely not
be able to offer useful advice).
