[Bug: 21.4.21] dired complains about an unrelated directory

I tried it out and didn't run into any problems.  OTOH, I can no longer
reproduce the original error, possibly because I've upgraded the OS
since I originally filed the bug.

So if you want to close this issue (132) without changing dired, that's
okay with me, too.
