You're crashing in the X11 libraries, it would seem.  We absolutely
need a C backtrace, or we can do nothing, not even guess.

What is your DISPLAY setting?

Some systems put corefiles in a particular place, not in the cwd or
$HOME.

If you don't find a corefile, can you run under the debugger?
