(temp-directory) needs some (regexp-quote) love in gnuserv.el

Couldn't you select one?  Or did you just ignore it?

The reason that's required and has no default is that all packages are
considered separate modules so that package maintainers (not to
mention package users ;-) can search on them.  (Eventually the tracker
will automatically put package maintainers on the nosy list.)

If you think it's entirely unobvious what "module" means, can you
suggest a term that would be more meaningful to you?  I've thought
about "component".
