Shell buffers (and anything dependent on comint) are currently badly
out of date.  Jerry tried to sync them to recent GNU for gdb.el, but
that was even worse, so it got reverted.

Jerry may have something more interesting and optimistic to say about
it, but this looks like something that's going to be a while before it
gets fixed.
