.bbdb getting corrupted by coding system in MULE

Do you have a coding-cookie on line one?

Does line 1 get lost during save?

The above is what happens for me.

I use .bbdb.gpg tough, together with easypg.

The cookie I use is
;; -*-coding: iso-2022-7bit;-*-

My workaround is to throw in a handful of cookies at the top of my
.bbdb.gpg.
