Why not enable font lock by default?

Stephen,

Would you be willing to post your C/C++ font-lock customizations (and your
.XDefault since I would want to see your general XEmacs colors too)?  I'm
using the colorset that was recommended in InfoDock but I'm always interested
in seeing other ways of doing things.
