I wasn't looking to totally suppress the messages, just stop them from
appearing on stdout. Behind the question I was wondering if we need to
make some changes to the autoload system. It should take effort for
messages to appear on stdout at startup. Since in recent memory we've
had two occasions where they've appeared by accident, perhaps something
needs improvement?
