Your X server is clearly buggy.  An application should not be able to
crash the X server.  You should report that to your vendor.

XEmacs *may* be buggy, but without a C backtrace it's hard to say.
Since you have experienced an XEmacs crash, I would recommend
upgrading XEmacs to the most recent stable version, which is 21.4.20.

If you have the core file available, XEmacs was built with debugging
symbols so you probably can get a useful backtrace.  This may require
getting a debug package containing the symbol tables from your
vendor, which appears to be Red Hat.
