Thank you very much, Aidan. Not only for solving this problem but for
making me read this, too:

! *XlwMenu.prettyPrintBuffer.labelString:       Pretty-Print Buffer
*XlwMenu.prettyPrintBuffer.labelString: Puffer garniert drucken

This translation really made my day ("garniert" == "garnished"). 

Now I wonder how to tastefully (sic!) garnish my buffers once they're
correctly font-locked again. ;-)
