That's the name that the contributor used.

Only because you don't understand how limited the XEmacs package
system is.<wink>
XEmacs's package system does not support complex dependencies,
specifically not package conflicts.  So what's likely to happen is
that people will either not get the upgrade because they're unaware of
the name change, or they'll end up with both packages installed, and a
fairly high probability of getting code from both versions loaded into
their running XEmacs.
