Is seems that the XEmacs-beta list is back. Sorry that I missed
earlier posts. 

I agree with Stephen: auctex needs to be updated, however sadly this
is more complicated than I thought due to large reorganisation of
auctex (including preview latex etc). I know should have done this
some time ago, (my workload does not allow it). I might try it again
in the coming days and would like to encourage everyone to overtake
the management.


On the other hand I have *not* received a massive demand for the
upgrade. And even at its present form auctex is _useful_. So I would
vote *against* its removal from SUMO.
