starttls gets stuck: message sent, but not archived.

Good news, although I did not dare to use the smtpmail.el as found in
the GNU Emacs CSV, but I included the new code which was added to the
Funktion smtpmail-read-response, that is 

    (catch 'done
      (while response-continue
	(goto-char smtpmail-read-point)
	(while (not (search-forward "\r\n" nil t))
	  (unless (memq (process-status process) '(open run))
	    (throw 'done nil))
	  (accept-process-output process)
	  (goto-char smtpmail-read-point))

And this indeed SOLVED the problem. Please could this code be included
in the xemacs pkg.
