Contradicting what I suspected earlier, I don’t see the problem with 21.4.19
on Solaris 2.8, whether ncurses is included or not; indeed, 21.4.19 behaves
exactly as I would like 21.5 to, with both xemacs and gnuclient started from
ksh.
