Confirmed on Debian GNU/Linux 'sid', Pentium II 450MHz.  Clock time
41s, CPU 34s for a successful run without the patch, killed without
finishing after 2m 17s, 1m 47s CPU, with the patch.  Debian package
autoconf_2.59a-3_all.deb.
