Please direct all bug reports related to Andrew Choi's patches to him.
We can't touch his code legally without upsetting him (we need to
replace some copyright and GPL notices that he removed, and he objects
strenuously), so I won't touch it at all. As far I know, nobody else
in XEmacs proper is willing to do so, either.

I'm very sorry about this situation. I'm planning to get in touch
with Andrew Choi again to see if we can negotiate a solution, but he
has always been adamant about his position, while ours is dictated by
the GPL itself, so I have little hope.

I guess I'd better treat that as a bug.

Again, if you want help with Carbon XEmacs, you'll have to go directly
to Andrew Choi.

Sincerely yours,
Stephen Turnbull
