Nope, Ben got lost. That post is not lost. It's still flagged in my
stack, but it has about 3.5 pages at 50 summary lines per page on top
of it. It's still beyond me; I don't have time to learn that stuff
now.

If you're serious enough about that "we need" to *do* something ....

You could follow up Ben's analysis in that post with a patch, feel
free.

Or you could implement a bug tracker, feel free; we can get you the
non-labor resources such as an account on the mail server where we
would probably host it. However, my comments about Bugzilla and email
still apply, and I've since heard both good things and bad things
about RT. If you want to do one of those, lobby the review board for
support (xemacs-review at xemacs.org). I'm not unalterably opposed, but
I'm not willing to commit to be the maintainer of last resort for
either of those.

My comments about the need for a bug tracker continue to apply--- we
don't need a bug tracker until we've got enough bug fixers committed
to fixing other people's bugs to matter. Ie, I still think it will
just be a black hole into which bug reports will sink, never to
resurface.
