Yup, I already committed a similar, but more general fix, which works
fine.
Some light testing shows your latest vc CVS sources work well for me.
In particular it fixes
C-x v l runs the command vc-print-log
and
M-x erevision
for me.
Looking forward to this major step for the vc package!
