This is a followup on the message I sent about an hour ago.

Here is an ls -l on the directory

sr1-usan-05$ ls -lt
total 23808
-rw------- 1 dmjacob staff 15354363 Apr 20 11:22 core
-rw-rw-r-- 1 dmjacob staff 11752 Apr 19 13:58 #ECCcurves.c#
-rw-rw-r-- 1 dmjacob staff 143 Apr 19 12:30 ECCcurves.c

You can see that the monster paste did seem to get into ECCcurves.c. It
is in the #... file saved at April 19 13:58, and caused the file to grow
to 11752 bytes. (That is small comparied with the amount I tried to
paste.) But the crash didn't occur until April 20, 11:22, 21 hours and
25 minutes later, which was while I was on vacation and XEmacs was just
sitting there.
