Need help in debugging GNU-sync-vc crash with 21.4.19

I don't get that, but I get a consistent crash.  gdb and lisp backtraces
attached.

This is from the Fedora Extras packaged build.  Let me know if you'd
like me to produce the backtraces with vanilla 21.4, IIRC I could
trigger the crash just as easily with it as well.
