I'm not sure exactly what bit you, but there have been changes in the
dump process.  We now insert the dumpfile in the executable, as with
the unexec style of dumping.  (Until recently there was a separate
dumpfile, sort of like the old maclisp fasload files.)

However, this didn't work well with the KKCC and/or MC_ALLOC options,
so the relation between these various options was complicated.

It appears that you are doing an update of the sources, then
"./configure [options]; gmake", is that right?  It is generally best
to do "gmake beta" to get rid of all generated files.
