Hello Sabine, do you want a stable XEmacs, but without Mule?
Then choose
http://list-archive.xemacs.org/xemacs-beta/200603/msg00224.html
If you need Mule and can accept beta quality software (taking extra
pre-caution from your end not to lose and critical data), the go with
http://list-archive.xemacs.org/xemacs-beta/200603/msg00225.html
Vin, Sabine, please note the download links are not marked up correctly.
They should currently be
ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/pub/xemacs/windows/testing/XEmacs%20Setup%2021.4.19-3.exe
and
ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/pub/xemacs/windows/testing/XEmacs%20Setup%2021.5-b25-2.exe
respectively.
Vin, SPACE characters in URLs need to be encoded to get handled
reliably by e-mail archiving software (like mhonarc), web browsers,
etc.
My preference with be to replace these spaces with dashes or underscores.

Sabine, the "Ausgefürht in:" or "Start in:" property of Windows
shortcuts does not have any agreed upon standards to follow, AFAIK.
In your example you use values that only make sense for German region
settings.
A good default value would be %HOME% but that requires the user to set it.
See also
http://www.xemacs.org/Documentation/21.5/html/xemacs-faq.html#SEC31
Initializing it to the correct regional setting for "...\My Documents"
does not seem easily possible, since there isn't even an Environment
variable for that.
Sensible defaults could be
"%USERPROFILE%"
or
"%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%"
Vin, what do you think?
